The wild Himalayan strain — Hirsutella sinensis, the anamorph of Cordyceps sinensis — raised under laboratory care. Traditionally used in the same way as the wild worm-fungus — clean, jitter-free and caffeine-free — at a fraction of the price, without the scarcity of the wild harvest.
